200g glutinous rice flour
Warm water (added gradually while mixing)
50–60g blanched edamame (adjust to taste)
Oil for frying
Optional toppings: chili powder, sugar syrup
Make the Dough:
In a mixing bowl, add 200g glutinous rice flour. Gradually pour in warm water while stirring, until a smooth, non-sticky dough forms.
Add Edamame:
Add blanched edamame to the dough and knead well to evenly distribute.
Chill the Dough:
Shape the dough into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. This helps firm it up for slicing.
Slice the Dough:
Once chilled, slice the dough into even rounds about 1 cm thick.
Pan-Fry:
Heat a small amount of oil in a non-stick pan over low heat. Place the slices into the pan and fry slowly until both sides are golden and crispy.
Serve:
Sprinkle with chili powder for a savory kick, or serve with sugar syrup for a sweet treat. Enjoy warm!
