Ingredients:
50g pork (finely chopped)
50g cooked yam (mashed)
15g carrot (blanched and finely chopped)
15g broccoli (blanched and finely chopped)
10g cornstarch
Instructions:
Prep the Ingredients:
Blanch the carrots and broccoli until slightly softened. Finely chop both vegetables and set aside. Mash the cooked yam until smooth, and finely chop the pork.
Mix the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped pork, mashed yam, chopped carrots and broccoli. Add cornstarch to the mixture.
Stir Until Even:
Mix all the ingredients together until evenly combined and the texture becomes sticky enough to hold shape.
Form the Balls:
Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls and place them on a heat-safe plate or steamer tray.
Steam the Balls:
Place the plate in a cold steamer, then bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, continue to steam for about 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.
Cool and Serve:
Let the balls cool slightly before serving. Perfect as a healthy snack or part of a balanced toddler meal.
