Ingredients:
Taro – 100g
Purple Sweet Potato – 50g
Formula Milk – 150ml
Eggs – 2
Instructions:
Steam the Base:
Steam the taro and purple sweet potato until soft. Mash them thoroughly. You may add a little milk for a creamier consistency.
Spread the Mash:
Place the mashed taro and sweet potato into small ramekins or bowls and spread flat to form the base layer.
Prepare the Custard:
Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then skim off the foam for a smooth texture.
Mix with Milk:
Add formula milk to the eggs and stir evenly. Sift the mixture once to refine it further.
Assemble:
Pour the egg and milk mixture over the mashed base in each ramekin.
Bake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Bake the custards for approximately 40 minutes until the tops are golden and slightly puffed.
Cool and Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. Can be served warm or chilled depending on baby’s preference.
