Wonton wrappers
Ground meat (pork, chicken, or your choice)
Salt and pepper (to season meat)

Step 1: Prepare the Filling
Season ground meat with salt, pepper, and optional aromatics like scallions or garlic. Mix well.
Step 2: Wrap the Wontons
Spoon a small amount of filling into the center of each wonton wrapper. Fold the wrapper around the filling and twist the ends like candy to seal securely.
Step 3: Fry the Wontons
Heat oil in a deep pan to around 170–180°C (340–355°F). Carefully add the wontons and fry until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
Step 4: Drain and Serve
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Drizzle with ketchup or serve alongside your favorite dipping sauce.
