4 slices of toast (crusts removed)
2 slices of cheddar cheese
2 eggs
2 tbsp yogurt (plus extra for dipping)
2 tbsp pork floss
1 tbsp finely chopped carrot
1 tbsp chopped chives
1 tsp black sesame seeds
Prep the Egg Coating:
In a bowl, combine eggs, chopped carrots, chives, and black sesame seeds. Beat well and set aside.
Prepare the Toast Base:
Cut off the crusts of each toast slice and roll them out thin using a rolling pin.
Fill the Rolls:
Spread a thin layer of yogurt over the toast. Add a line of pork floss in the center, then top with half a slice of cheese.
Roll It Up:
Carefully roll the toast slice from one end to the other, sealing the filling inside.
Coat in Egg Mixture:
Dip each roll into the prepared egg mixture, making sure it’s fully coated.
Pan-Fry to Perfection:
Heat a nonstick pan over low heat without oil. Fry each roll until lightly golden and cooked through.
Final Touch:
Dip both ends of each roll in yogurt, then press into extra pork floss for a flavorful crust.
Serve:
Plate and serve warm. Perfect for dipping in ketchup or extra yogurt!
