Sweet potato – diced and blanched
Apple – diced
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour

Prep the ingredients:
Peel and dice the sweet potato into small cubes. Blanch the diced sweet potato in boiling water briefly to soften. Dice the apples to match.
Make the batter:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the blanched sweet potato, diced apple, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon of flour. Mix well until evenly coated.
Shape and cook:
Heat a non-stick pan and lightly coat it with oil. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and flatten gently into round patties.
Fry to perfection:
Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top of each patty. Cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked through.
Serve:
Let cool slightly and enjoy warm. Great with a drizzle of honey or eaten plain!
