Red dates (jujube), whole and pitted
Glutinous rice flour

Prepare the Dates:
Use a straw or chopstick to gently remove the pits from each red date, creating a hollow center while keeping the date intact.
Make the Rice Balls:
In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour with a little warm water until a soft dough forms. Roll the dough into small, round balls that can fit into the red dates.
Stuff the Dates:
Gently press 1 or 2 small rice balls into the center of each red date. The date will slightly open like a clamshell to hold the filling.
Steam:
Place the stuffed dates into a steamer basket. Steam over boiling water for about 10 minutes, or until the rice balls are soft and fully cooked.
Serve:
Enjoy the stuffed red dates warm. They’re naturally sweet and chewy—no added sugar needed!
