For the Filling:
2 eggs, scrambled
1 tomato, diced
1 stalk scallion, finely chopped
1 tsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil + oyster sauce blend
A pinch of salt
For the Dumpling Wrapper:
Ready-made or homemade dumpling wrappers
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
½ tbsp chili powder
½ tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
1 clove garlic, finely minced
Prepare the Filling:
Scramble the eggs and let them cool slightly.
Combine scrambled eggs with diced tomato and scallions.
Season with soy sauce, sesame-oyster blend, and a pinch of salt.
Mix well and set aside.
Assemble Dumplings:
Roll out each dumpling wrapper thinly.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center.
Dab the edges with a little water, then fold and pleat to seal tightly.
Steam:
Place dumplings in a steamer lined with parchment or cabbage leaves.
Steam over high heat for 15 minutes.
Prepare Sauce:
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, chili powder, garlic, and sesame seeds.
Mix well.
Serve:
Once dumplings are steamed, pour the sauce over the top.
Gently toss to coat and serve hot!
