Mini sausages
Dry noodles (e.g., spaghetti or ramen)
Water (for soaking)
Oil (for frying)
Seasoning Sauce:
1 spoon cumin powder
1 spoon chili powder
1 spoon white sesame seeds
1 spoon barbecue seasoning
Wrap the Sausages
Dip each mini sausage in water. Take a softened noodle strand and tightly wrap it around the middle of the sausage.
Slice for the Star Shape
Use scissors to make a cross-shaped cut on each end of the sausage, about halfway down.
Fry the Sausages
Heat oil in a pan to about 60% hot (around 300°F/150°C). Carefully add the sausages and fry until they puff and the ends curl into star shapes. Remove and drain excess oil.
Prepare the Seasoning Sauce
Leave a little oil in the pan. Add cumin powder, chili powder, white sesame, and barbecue seasoning. Stir to combine.
Final Stir-Fry
Add the fried sausages back into the pan. Stir-fry over low heat until the sauce is evenly coated and the sausages are slightly dry and glossy.
Serve
Skewer them or serve as-is for a cute, spicy, and savory bite that’s sure to impress!
