290g all-purpose flour
260g boiling water

30g brown sugar
40g flour
Make the Dough:
In a mixing bowl, combine 290g flour with 260g boiling water. Stir with chopsticks or a spatula until it starts forming a sticky dough.
Knead and Rest:
Once cool enough to handle, knead the dough until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Prepare the Filling:
In a separate bowl, mix 30g brown sugar with 40g flour until well combined. This prevents the sugar from leaking out during frying.
Shape the Buns:
Pinch off a small portion of dough and flatten it into a disk. Place about a spoonful of brown sugar filling in the center and seal the edges tightly to form a round bun.
Pan-Fry the Buns:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat with a thin layer of oil. Fry the buns on both sides until golden brown and puffed, about 3–4 minutes per side.
Serve:
Let cool slightly before serving. The filling will be hot and molten—perfect for a gooey dessert bite!
