For the Dough:
500g all-purpose flour
5g dry yeast
5g sugar
280g warm water
For the Filling:
2 eggs, scrambled
100g ham, diced
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Other:
White sesame seeds (for sprinkling)
Cooking oil (for frying)
Prepare the Dough
In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and sugar. Add warm water and knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it ferment until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, combine scrambled eggs, diced ham, chopped green pepper, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and set aside.
Roll and Fill
Once the dough has risen, deflate it and roll it into a large rectangular sheet. Lightly spray or brush oil over the surface. Evenly spread the filling mixture over the dough.
Shape the Buns
Fold the dough from the top and bottom towards the center, then fold in half again. Lightly press to seal and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Press gently to help the seeds stick.
Cut and Pan-Fry
Slice the rolled dough into even pieces. Preheat a pan with a thin layer of oil. Place the pieces in the pan and lightly spray the tops with oil. Fry on low heat until golden brown on both sides and cooked through.
Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm. Perfect for sharing or on-the-go snacking!
