Chicken wings – about 10 pieces
2 tablespoons cooking wine
3 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 egg
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Oil for frying
Prep the Wings:
Slice each chicken wing with shallow cuts. Soak them in clean water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
Marinate:
Place the wings in a bowl. Add cooking wine, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Coat:
After marinating, pour off excess liquid. Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and crack in an egg. Mix until the wings are evenly coated.
Fry:
Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Add the wings and fry until both sides are set and golden.
Simmer:
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and cook for another 10 minutes. Flip halfway through for even browning.
Serve:
Plate and enjoy your crispy, juicy chicken wings with a savory glaze!
