4 slices of thick toast
35g unsalted butter (softened)
30g cream cheese (softened)
25g garlic (minced)
20g chopped green onion
A pinch of salt
Prepare the Toast Base:
Cut each slice of thick toast into four equal squares.
Make the Garlic Cheese Spread:
In a small blender or food processor, crush the garlic and chop the green onion finely.
Mix the Spread:
In a bowl, combine softened butter and cream cheese. Add the minced garlic, green onion, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth and well combined.
Spread on Toast:
Evenly smear the garlic cheese mixture over the top of each toast cube.
Bake:
Place the prepared cubes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Serve:
Let cool slightly and serve warm. Perfect as a savory snack or side!
