200g steamed pumpkin
35g sugar
210g glutinous rice flour

Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Steam the pumpkin and mash it while warm. Add sugar and mix until smooth. Stir in glutinous rice flour and knead into a soft dough.
Step 2: Assemble the Sandwiches
Take a portion of dough and press it between two biscuits to form a sandwich shape. Gently squeeze to ensure it holds together.
Step 3: Add Sesame Coating
Roll the edge of each biscuit sandwich in white sesame seeds for a crispy, nutty crust.
Step 4: Fry to Perfection
Heat oil in a pan to about 60% hot (around 160–170°C / 320–340°F). Carefully place the sandwiches in and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain excess oil.
Step 5: Serve Warm or Cool
Enjoy fresh and warm for the best texture, or let cool for a slightly chewier bite.
