Shrimp (fresh, peeled & deveined)
Toast (white bread slices)
1 egg white
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter (softened)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tbsp chopped green onion
1️⃣ Prepare the Shrimp Paste
Mince shrimp into a fine puree.
In a bowl, add shrimp, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp pepper, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 egg white, and 1 tbsp cornstarch. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
2️⃣ Make the Butter Garlic Topping
In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Stir well.
3️⃣ Assemble the Toast
Take a slice of toast and spread a thick layer of shrimp paste diagonally.
Fold the toast into a triangle shape.
Brush the top with the garlic-butter mixture.
4️⃣ Bake to Perfection
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
Place the shrimp toasts on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serving Tip: Enjoy them hot with sweet chili sauce or soy dipping sauce. Perfect as appetizers or light snacks!
