1 block of tofu
Chopped green onions
Diced bell pepper (any color)
Diced ham or ham sausage
2 eggs
2 tbsp cornstarch
Salt (to taste)
Thirteen-spice seasoning (or five-spice as substitute)
Oyster sauce (to taste)
Chili powder (optional)
Cumin powder (optional)
Prepare the Tofu Base
Place the tofu in a large bowl and crumble it with your hands until fine and even.
Add the Vegetables & Protein
Mix in chopped green onions, diced bell pepper, and diced ham or ham sausage. Crack in the two eggs.
Season the Mixture
Add a pinch of salt, thirteen-spice seasoning, a drizzle of oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
Shape the Bites
Line your air fryer basket with baking paper and lightly spray with oil. Scoop portions of the mixture and roll into small bite-sized balls. Place them evenly on the lined basket.
Air Fry to Perfection
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crisp.
Finish & Serve
Sprinkle with chili powder and cumin powder if desired. Enjoy hot as a snack or appetizer.
