For the Chicken:
1 chicken breast, cut into strips
1 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp crushed black pepper
Pinch of salt
1 tsp starch (e.g. corn or potato)
1 pack of instant noodles (crushed)
Cooking spray or a light brush of oil
For the Sauce:
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp starch
1/2 bowl water
1 clove garlic, minced
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine chicken strips with milk, crushed black pepper, salt, and starch. Mix well and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
Prepare the Coating:
Crush a pack of instant noodles into small bits. Roll each marinated chicken strip in the crushed noodles to coat completely.
Air Fry:
Lightly spray the coated chicken strips with oil. Place in the air fryer at 180°C (356°F) and cook for 20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Make the Sauce:
In a pan, mix ketchup, oyster sauce, honey, soy sauce, starch, water, and minced garlic. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
Glaze the Chicken:
Toss the crispy chicken strips in the thickened sauce until fully coated. Serve hot!
