1 apple (cut into thick rings, core removed)
1 sheet of hand cake or pastry dough

Prepare the Dough Strips
Cut the hand-grasping cake or pastry sheet into long, even strips about 1โ1.5 cm wide.
Slice the Apple
Slice the apple into thick round slices and carefully remove the core to form ring shapes.
Wrap the Apples
Take one dough strip at a time and gently wrap it around each apple ring until fully covered.
Add the Finishing Touch
Place the wrapped apple rings on a parchment-lined baking tray. Brush each with egg wash and sprinkle generously with black sesame seeds.
Bake
Preheat your oven to 180ยฐC (356ยฐF). Bake the rings for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
Serve Warm
Let cool slightly and enjoy the crispy layers and sweet apple center. Perfect with tea or as a light dessert!
