150g all-purpose flour
150g cornmeal
2g baking soda
5g baking powder
1 egg
80g white sugar
100g cooking oil

1️⃣ Prepare the dry mix: In a large bowl, combine 150g all-purpose flour, 150g cornmeal, 2g baking soda, and 5g baking powder. Mix evenly and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the wet mix: In another bowl, add 1 egg, 80g sugar, and 100g cooking oil. Stir until the sugar fully dissolves.
3️⃣ Combine & knead: Gradually add the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Stir, then knead into a smooth dough.
4️⃣ Shape the dough: Roll the dough out flat with a rolling pin. Brush the surface with egg yolk for a golden finish and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
5️⃣ Cut & bake: Slice the dough into small square pieces. Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
6️⃣ Cool & enjoy: Let cookies cool slightly, then serve. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, they’re simply irresistible!
