In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, salt, and egg. Whisk until fully mixed.
Add the flour, dried cranberries, and black sesame seeds. Stir with a spatula until all ingredients are combined, and no dry powder remains.
First Fermentation:
Cover the dough with a cloth and place it in a warm area. Let it ferment for 1–2 hours until it doubles in size.
Shape the Loaves:
Sprinkle some flour on your work surface and divide the dough into two equal parts.
Roll each portion flat with a rolling pin, then roll it up tightly from top to bottom. Pinch and shape the edges to form a loaf.
Second Fermentation:
Place the shaped loaves onto a baking sheet or directly into a fryer pan lined with parchment paper. Allow them to ferment for another 20 minutes in a warm place.
Bake the Loaves:
Preheat your air fryer or oven to 150°C (300°F).
Bake the loaves for 20 minutes, then carefully turn them over and bake for an additional 12 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Cool and Slice:
Remove the bread from the fryer/oven and let it cool slightly. Slice into even pieces and enjoy the sweet, nutty aroma and soft texture.
